Junior Service League of Beaufort Hosts 3rd Annual “Truckin’ It” 5k

A Unique and Interactive Experience for Children of All Ages!

The Junior Service League of Beaufort (JSLB) will host its 3rd Annual “Truckin’ It” 5K and Kids Fun Run 2022! The 5K and fun run will be held on December 3, 2022 in the historic Town of Port Royal. The cost varies based on which race option is selected.

What is the Truckin’ It race? Our event will be a jolly good time! The Truckin’ It race will offer a 5K and Fun Run for children under the age of 12. The 5K begins at 8 a.m. and the fun run begins at 8:05 a.m. This family event is stroller and pet friendly, so we invite you to include all members of your family! Following the race, participants meet and take photos with Santa as we are combining the 5k with our beloved JSLB Lowcountry Santa event this year. The race will be held on December 3, 2022 and you can sign up at JSLB Truckin’ It 5K and Kids Fun Run. We are currently seeking sponsors for this event as well.

“Junior Service League of Beaufort is excited to return to the Town of Port Royal for our Truckin’ It 5k and Fun Run. This run started as a virtual run in 2020 and continues to grow each year. This year we are embracing the Truckin’ It with Santa theme and Santa, himself, will be there to celebrate our runners as they cross the finish line. Please help us spread the word throughout our community about our Truckin’ It 5K and Fun Run, and help us give back. All proceeds from this run are funneled right back into our beloved community,” said JSLB President Abigail Lynch.
