Directs Film 112 Steps

Film 112 Steps is a ghost story from the Leamington rear range lighthouse on Hilton Head Island. The light is still there on the Palmetto Dunes Golf Course. The legend says that a light housekeeper and his daughter lived there in the 1890s. There was a terrible hurricane, and the father had a heart attack. The daughter tended the light while her father was dying. The whole ordeal left her mind broken, and the legend says that’s how she became a ghost. What I do in my research at USCB is appropriate and re-present very old folk tales using modern technology. The film is opening the BIFF on Wednesday, February 19.
