It%u2019s that time of year again when the spotlight shines brightly on Beaufort%u2014the 19th Annual Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF) is here! This beloved event brings extraordinary films and filmmakers to our charming town and highlights the incredible talents and collaborations that make our community so unique. We are thrilled to feature Dr. Caroline Sawyer, who has been working closely with BIFF to provide USCB students with invaluable, real-world experience. Through internships with BIFF and the television show, By The River, these students are gaining hands-on opportunities that could shape the future of their careers in film and television. BIFF%u2019s opening act is none other than the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra, led by the incomparable Maestro Fred Devyatkin. What better way to kick off this cinematic celebration than with the powerful melodies of our local orchestra! Their performance promises to set the stage for a week of unforgettable stories on screen. This year%u2019s Festival also includes a collaboration between local filmmaker Richard Steinberger and film director Andy Wakeman. Their latest project is set to premiere at BIFF.
