She is a graduate of Battery Creek High School and the University of South Carolina, and married to Erin \Grace. Together, they enjoy living by the tides, spending time with family and friends, and working on behalf of local businesses at the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce. Megan Thibault MorrisJennifer Brown-Carpenter has been writing since she was young, typing up stories on Microsoft Word in a million different fonts. Currently, her stories are far and fewer between as she primarily focuses on being a wife to her best friend and mama to her 3 littles: K2, Malachi, and Ellison. If she isn't corralling the kiddos, on a date with Kimani, or writing, she is most likely petting her pets, watering plants, and sipping on a Dr. Pepper. Jennifer Brown-CarpenterJenny Phillips is a Beaufort native and founder of 1111 Marcom, a marketing and communication agency based in Port Royal, SC. In addition to working with clients locally and nationally on marketing strategy, paid ads, email, and social, Jenny has over a decade of experience in photography and videography. When she%u2019s not pursuing her passions in her career, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Jenny PhillipsJeanne Reynolds has more than four decades of experience as a freelance writer and editor, and as a communications leader in corporate, nonprofit and news media organizations. She especially enjoys finding the people stories behind the stories and humor in strange places. When not at a keyboard, you can find her running on Cat Island, playing golf around the state, taking classes at the Y, singing in the Sea Island Presbyterian Church choir, checking out books at the library, or experimenting in the kitchen. Jeanne ReynoldsAnne Blanchette calls Beaufort home after moving here with her husband several years ago. A woman of faith, wife, mother, Christian writer, blogger, teacher, and currently pursuing a certification in biblical counseling, she aims to share her faith through all she does. Anne and her husband have a beautiful blended family of five. They have successfully launched four of their children while homeschooling their youngest. Anne believes life is a journey of faith, and within every journey, there is a story to be told. She writes to tell that story.Anne BlanchetteMicah Peppers is a Florida State journalism major, and taught secondary English before marrying her USMC husband, Jesse. In 2014, she opened Tutor Doctor tutoring services of Beaufort County, while continuing to pursue her passion in writing. In her spare time, Micah can be found traveling the world with Jesse, and their three boys: Maddox, Asher, & Camden. Micah PeppersPaul Nurnberg studio is in Beaufort. He specializes in architectural and lifestyle advertising photography. He photographs a variety of subjects including people, products, food, nature and travel for ad agencies, large corporations and magazines. Paul also teaches photography and camera classes and one-on-one lessons to individuals.Susan DeLoach was born in Beaufort, where she still resides with her husband, Larry, and sons Hudson and Tucker. Susan has a gift for capturing the personality and unique essence of her subject whether on location or in the studio. Her portraits are as diverse as the personalities of the people-some are edgy, some joyful, but all have one thing in common: the sensitive, skilled and thoughtful approach of the artist behind the camera.Paul NurnbergKate Hamilton Pardee and her husband, Gary, moved to Beaufort when she semi-retired as Director of Nantucket Island%u2019s Tourism Department. Currently, she is working on some writing and public relations projects through her business Word of Mouth is Best. Kate, Gary and their pups love Beaufort, Hunting Island and Shrimp (in no particular order). She is a stay at home mother to two kids under two with another one on the way. Her husband Benjamin teaches at Holy Trinity and they enjoy escaping to the mountains as much as they can. You will most likely find her people watching in a coffee shop while sipping on an iced coffee and writing. She writes how she interacts with others through authenticity and vulnerability. Erin WallaceNakeisha Dawson-Thompson was born and raised in beautiful Beaufort to Gerald and Vivian Dawson. She%u2019s been married for 22 years to Preston Thompson, Jr. Together they have five beautiful children and four grandchildren. Nakeisha is an author, publishing her first piece Little Sin, Big Secret. She is a mentor of teenage girls through her non-profit organization, Gullah Daughters of Purpose, Inc. as well as a motivational speaker. She enjoys crafting and assisting others in pursuing their purpose in life.Nakeisha Dawson-ThompsonCharlotte Berkeley-Stange is a portrait and lifestyle photographer in the Lowcountry. She is a native to Beaufort, where her love for photography began as a child. She strives to provide the best quality of professional photography services, by uniquely capturing and fulfilling each client's photography needs. When not out photographing she is spending time with her family. Charlotte Berkeley-StangeRobin Coker has made her home here in the Lowcountry from New Jersey following time in the Navy. Currently working in hospice education, she has a passion for everything health and wellness. She works one-on-one with clients through a holistic health coaching program and shares her own health journey through her mommy friendly holistic health healing blog. Robin CokerHeather Steinberger is an award-winning writer with 30 years of experience in journalism, magazine editing, copywriting and public relations. She has worked with media outlets and clients across the country, also traveling on assignment in the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and South Pacific. She enjoys collaborating with nonprofits dedicated to youth, culture and the arts %u2014 and helping individuals share their own unique stories. Heather moved to Beaufort in 2020 with her photographer/filmmaker husband, Richard, and their daughter, Johanna.Heather Steinberger
